Navarro College offers confidential mental health counseling services for students and consultations/referrals to outside resources for faculty and staff. Our licensed counselors are available by appointment only except in cases of crisis. The Bulldog Mental Wellness Center offers short-term counseling services using solution-focused intervention strategies to aide in new skills acquisition, as well as symptom and problem resolution
Counseling is available for individual concerns including but not limited to: relationship and family issues, self-esteem, coping strategies, stress management, and work/school-life balance. Mental health support and intervention counseling is available to address areas such as: anxiety, panic attacks, depression, attention issues, bipolar disorder, etc. as well as drug and alcohol education and support.
The Bulldog Mental Wellness Center can also assist students with referrals to outside services for long-term counseling, medication management, and psychological evaluation.
Our licensed counselors periodically offer workshops and trainings to faculty, staff, and students on a variety of topics that may be tailored to their needs.
