To be eligible for a tuition refund, a student must officially withdraw through the Office of Admissions & Records and must complete a “Request for Refund” form. “Class Day” is defined as any day a college class meets. Class days are computed beginning the first day of classes for the semester, not according to the number of times a particular class has met. After classes begin, certain fees are not refundable including vehicle registration and matriculation. Be advised dropped class refunds are not issued until after the census date of courses. In the event of a student’s official withdrawal or reduction of hours carried, tuition and fees are refundable on the following basis:
Prior to the first class day: 100%
During the first 15th class days: 70%
During the 16th to 20th class days: 25%
After the 20th class day: none
Prior to the first class day: 100%
During the first five class days: 70%
During the sixth and seventh class days: 25%
After the seventh class day: none
Prior to the first class day: 100%
After the first class day: none
Tuition and fees paid directly to Navarro College by a sponsor, donor or scholarship shall be refunded to the source rather than directly to the student. Refunds will be processed after the 12th class day.
Students who are withdrawn from classes for excessive absenteeism, disciplinary concern, or other administrative purpose are not eligible for a refund unless the withdrawal date falls within the refund dates for the semester.
Please consult the Office of Admissions and Records for the refund policy concerning eight-week, twelve-week, and minimester classes.

Navarro College disburses all financial aid balances, including Stafford Loans, through BankMobile.
First time students will receive the Refund Selection Kit (BRIGHT GREEN ENVELOPE) after registration.
Students may choose to have funds directly deposited to a personal bank account via ACH or can open an account with BankMobile.Police Academy students without BankMobile set up receive all refunds via checks made through the Corsicana Business Office on the listed refund date.
Please note, WebAdvisor balances are adjusted for current student enrollment status. If you are less than full time (12 hours) your Pell Grant refund is reduced to less than your total award. For more information regarding how the Pell Grant amounts are affected by enrollment, please see our Grants Page.
If a student receives a refund for a semester and then withdraws or is dropped from all courses, the student will be responsible for repaying some or all money received and/or used. The amount the student is responsible for repaying will be determined based on the time at which the student withdraws from the semester. Any funds owed to Navarro College or the Department of Education must be repaid before the student will be able to re-enroll, request transcripts, or be eligible for additional financial aid.
